LIFT Renewal Ministries

LIFT Renewal Ministries is a non-profit ministry established for the purpose of helping pastors and congregations deepen their experience of Jesus Christ. Our founding director, Rev. William A. Johnson, is an ordained minister in the United Methodist church.

Pastor Bill has served 4 congregations in the Southern California area, (including 2 start-up ministries). He earned a B.A. in Studio Art (drawing and painting) from the University of Redlands and holds an M.Div. from the Claremont School of Theology. Pastor Bill combines the eye of an artist with the discipline of an athlete (he's been an avid cyclist for over 20 years). A dedicated coach who knows the value of hard work and perseverance, his gifts for ministry include leadership, teaching, and prophetic insight. Through LIFT he serves pastors and congregations as an advocate and spiritual friend. Pastor Bill is married to Judy Johnson, a licensed educational psychologist, and they have three adult children and one grandson.
